César Baldaccini, a renowned French sculptor, gained international acclaim for his innovative approach to sculpture in the post-World War II era. In 1960, he played a pivotal role as a founding member of the Nouveaux Réalistes, a group that emerged alongside American Pop art. This collective included notable artists such as Yves Klein, Jean Tinguely, Christo, Martial Raysse, and Arman, among others.
